What is economy-focused remapping?
A calibration approach that considers usable torque and efficient driving where the vehicle is suitable. The objective is to support your real driving needs rather than promise an identical fuel saving for every car.
Who might it suit?
Drivers who can describe their typical journeys, load and current fuel consumption, and want to understand whether calibration is appropriate. A vehicle covering steady longer journeys has a different use pattern from one making frequent cold, short trips.
What could change?
Usable response and torque delivery may change. Whether that improves fuel consumption depends on how the vehicle is driven and the operating conditions. Using additional performance can increase fuel use. No fixed MPG improvement or percentage saving is promised.
What affects the result?
Driving style, route, traffic, temperature, vehicle condition, tyre pressures and carried load influence consumption. Existing faults and overdue maintenance should be addressed first. Compare fuel use across representative, similar journeys rather than relying on a single dashboard reading.
Hardware and emissions systems
Economy calibration is separate from emissions-control deactivation. Ordinary economy enquiries do not include removing or disabling emissions equipment. Any required repairs or hardware work are arranged separately, with the configuration and sequence confirmed in advance.
